If clearance between side/back walls and periphery of the burner is
less than 200mm, the walls must be protected with a
non-combustible material . . . . The protection must extend a minimum
distance of 450mm above the burner. Horizontal surfaces less than
750mm vertically above the cooktop must also be protected.
