GPIB Command Reference

Each GPIB command the FPM-8200 responds to is listed on the following pages
in alphabetical order. Each command name is given in correct syntax, is identified
as a common or device dependent command, and whether it duplicates a front
panel action.

GPIB Command Reference
Adjusts the internal analog to digital (A/D) converter to reference points, then reports results.
Zero = OK
Non−zero = calibration error
A/D referencing is performed each 10 minutes of inactive time.
*CAL?
Sets a gain factor to be applied to all FPM−8200 measurements.
0.500 to 2.500
Front panel USER CAL indicator is ON when the gain factor is any other value than 1.000.
CAL:USER .5˙Results are half their normal value
CAL:USER 1.01˙Results are increased by 1%
Requests the FPM−8200 user−cal gain value.
A value between 0.500 and 2.500.
CAL:USER?˙Response 1.000 means there is no user calibration gain factor.
CAL:user?˙Response 1.010 means a user−calibration gain factor is increasing all results by 1%.
Clears status event registers: Event Status, Event Status Enable, and Error Queue.
Useful to clear registers before enabling service requests (SRQ).
