6.6 Disassembly and
Reassembly of Connection
Adapter of Inner Diaphragm
Type Seal
• Removing the connection adapter, exercise
care so as not to damage the diaphragm
surfaces.(See figure 4.3)
• When re-mounting the connection adapter, use
the new gasket as shown in the table.
• Install the connection adapter, and use a torque
wrench to tighten the four bolts uniformly to a
torque of 59N·m.
• After the pressure detector section has been
reassembled, a leak test must be performed to
verify that there are no pressure leaks.

6.7 Troubleshooting

If any abnormality appears in the measured values,
use the troubleshooting flow chart below to isolate
and remedy the problem. Since some problems
have complex causes, these flow charts may
not identify all. If you have difficulty isolating or
correcting a problem, contact Yokogawa service
personnel.
6.7.1 Basic Troubleshooting
First determine whether the process variable
is actually abnormal or a problem exists in the
measurement system.
If the problem is in the measurement system,
isolate the problem and decide what corrective
action to take.
This transmitter is equipped with a self-diagnostic
function which will be useful in troubleshooting,
and the transmitter equipped with an integral
indicator will show an alarm code as a result of self-
diagnosis.
