The child restraint system is suitable for children in weight classes II to III, which
means for children with a body weight of 15-36 kg (approx. 3 to approx. 12 years)
or up to a maximum height of 150 cm.
For use in the vehicle, refer also to the recommendations in
the owner's manual for your vehicle or contact your contract
workshop.

3 General safety instructions

Carefully read through the instructions for use before installing
!
the child restraint system for the first time. Incorrect use can be
life-threatening for your child.
Injuries caused by carelessness can be easily avoided.
Only use the child restraint system (a) for children in weight
!
classes II–III from 15 kg to 36 kg.
Each time before you drive, check whether the child restraint
!
system (A) is optimally adjusted to the child's body weight. Do
not make any adjustments while the vehicle is in motion.
Ensure that all parts have engaged correctly.
!
Ensure that no parts of the child restraint system (A) become
!
lodged in doors or adjustable seats.
With vans and caravans, in particular, ensure that the child
!
restraint system (A) is installed in an easily accessible location
in case of a rescue by a third party.
The belt may never be loosely applied. Forces during an accident
!
are many times greater than with a taut belt. Ensure the correct
position of the vehicle belt latch.
