The child restraint system is suitable for children in weight class I, which means
for children with a body weight of 9–18 kg (approx. 9 months to approx. 4 years).
For use in the vehicle, refer also to the recommendations in
the owner's manual for your vehicle or contact your contract
workshop.

3 General safety instructions

Carefully read through the instructions for use before installing
!
the child restraint system for the first time. Incorrect use can be
life-threatening for your child.
Injuries caused by carelessness can be easily avoided.
The child restraint system (A) must always be used with the
!
impactshield (L) belonging to it.
Use the seat cushions (I) belonging to it for children with a
!
bodyweight of approximately 9–11 kg. Otherwise the seat-
ing position (protection) would deteriorate in the event of an
accident or collision.
Each time before you drive, check whether the child restraint
!
system (A) is optimally adjusted to the child's body weight. Do
not make any adjustments while the vehicle is in motion.
Ensure that all parts have engaged correctly.
!
Ensure that no parts of the child restraint system (A) become
!
lodged in doors or adjustable seats.
With vans and caravans, in particular, ensure that the child
!
restraint system (A) is installed in an easily accessible location
in case of a rescue by a third party.
