SETTING UP THE SHOOTING FUNCTION
Selecting image quality mode
°§Using the SELECT button in the image quality mode, allows three types of
image quality to be selected.(The selected image quality will flash).
°[Highest Image quality°\ °[ High Image quality°\ ° [ Standard Image quality°\
°§The capacity of memory is determined by the quality of image that is
selected. You can obtain three types of image quality;
°§Select the appropriate image quality from the previous 3 modes.

°§The picture image file is normally stored in *.jpg but selecting the
highest image quality enables *tif files to be used. Refer to page 40
for details of selecting the pictured image file form.
°§ You can get the best quality shot with *.TIF file which is for the
professionals. However, The number of the shot is decreased and the
time it is saved in the memorycard is lengthened.
Select to Record size
°§You can choose the file size (large or small) by using the select button to set
(L) or (S).
°§If the recording size is too large, the capacity for remaining pictures will
decrease.

°§The image quality and recording size determines the number of
images that can be shot. The recording size stored in the memory
can not be changed once an image is captured, the size of the stored
file cannot be altered.

SETTING UP THE SHOOTING FUNCTION
Selecting the Selftimer mode.
°§This function is used when the photographer also wants to be in the picture.
°§Whenever you press the SELECT button on the selftimer mode set status,
the
symbol flashes on the photographing information indicator.
°§If you select
, the indicator (
) is displayed under the normal indication
condition.
°§It is taken after 10 seconds when you press the shutter button and after that,
the self-timer is cancelled.

°§The selftimer LED indicator (red) will flash whilst the selftimer is
shooting.
- 7 seconds after pressing the shutter button the LED will flash
slowly in 1 second intervals.
- In the last 3 seconds the LED light will flash in 1/2 second intervals.
°§If the sound function is in operation the camera will beep in 1 second
intervals to warn you when the picture will be taken.
