The SPARK ARRESTER must be maintained every 100 hours of service.

Remove the screws and remove the muffler guard.

Use a brush to remove carbon deposits from the spark arrester. If the spark arrester is worn,
replace it.

Reinstall the spark arrester and muffler guard.
13. ENGINE OIL
Risk of burn from HOT engine and HOT oil – allow engine and engine oil to cool down before

topping up or replacing oil.

Drain the used oil while the engine is warm. Warm oil drains quickly.
13.3
Remove the filler cap/dipstick and unscrew the oil drainage bolt, then place a suitable
container under the oil drain plug and tilt the machine to catch the used oil.
