3.3.6 USB Configuration

The items in this menu allow you to change the USB-related features.
The USB Devices item shows the auto-detected values. If no USB device is
detected, the item shows None.
Legacy USB Support [Enabled]
[Enabled]
Enables the support for USB devices on legacy operating systems
(OS).
[Disabled]
The USB devices can be used only for the BIOS setup program.
[Auto]
Allows the system to detect the presence of USB devices at
startup. If detected, the USB controller legacy mode is enabled. If
no USB device is detected, the legacy USB support is disabled.
USB3.0 Support [Enabled]
[Enabled]
Enables the USB 3.0 (XHCI) Controller support.
[Disabled]
Disables the function.

Super IO Configuration

The items in this menu allow you to configure the system super IO chip settings.
Serial Port 1/Port 2 Configuration
Allow you to configure the Serial Port 1/Port 2 settings.
Serial Port [Enabled]
Enables or disables the Serial COM port.
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Change Settings [Auto]
Allows you to select an optimal setting for the Super IO device.
Configuration options: [Auto] [IO=3F8h; IRQ=4] [IO=3F8h; IRQ=3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]
[IO=2F8h; IRQ=3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12] [IO=3E8h; IRQ=3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]
[IO=2E8h; IRQ=3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]
Device Mode [RS-232]
Allows you to change the Serial Port mode.
Configuration options: [RS-232] [RS-422] [RS-485]
EUP Function [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the EUP function.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
