SMT-W6100 User Guide

Press the Options soft key.
2.
When Mute highlights, press the Select soft key. The Mute icon( ) appears on the bottom
line of the display and your correspondent can no longer hear you.
To switch the microphone back on:
1.
Press the Options soft key.
2.
When Unmute highlights, press the Select soft key. The Mute icon( ) disappears and your
correspondent can hear you.
Muting/Sending Key Tones
You can turn the key tones off or on during a call.
When the Mute key option is selected, your phone does not transmit the key tones.
It allows you to press keys without hearing annoying key tones during a call.
