Messages (Menu 6.1.2)
This option allows you to set up the ringer for each incoming short message and multimedia
message received.
Short Message/Multimedia Message
The following options are available:
Tone: lets you choose from many different tones. Each time you select a tone from the list, the tone

is played and the service light flickers
Alert type: lets you specify how you are informed of any incoming messages.

- Tone: the phone rings using the tone selected via the Tone option(see above) and the service
light flickers in rhythm.
- Vibration: the phone vibrates but does not ring.
- Vibration then tone: the phone first vibrates. And then the phone rings and the service light
flickers in rhythm.
- Light only: only the service light flickers the phone neither rings nor vibrates.
Repetition: allows you to specify how often the phone informs you of a new message. You can

choose either Once or Periodic.
