Connecting the Magic Messenger to the Station Side

of a Telephone System
This application allows the Magic Messenger to answer all calls nor-
mally answered at a station.
Note: In this application, the Magic Messenger will only work with a
single-line telephone and from a station port on the telephone system
that can support a single-line telephone and provides forward discon-
nect. If you have questions regarding this application, contact your
AT&T Technical Representative.
Refer to the diagrams below:
1. Unplug the modular cord at the telephone and plug it into the jack
on the Magic Messenger labelled LINE.
2.
Connect one end of the modular cord included with the MAgic
Messenger to the jack on the Magic Messenger labelled PHONE.
Connect the other end to the single-line telephone.
