Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Marsden industrial scale. This is a precision CE Approved Weighing Instrument and considerate use will result in many years of accurate weighing. The scale has a maximum load capacity of 30kg which must not be exceeded.

This product must be disposed of at a communal collection point. Carefully read this operation manual before setup and commissioning, even if you are already familiar with Marsden scales. Power Supply & Low Battery The indicator uses power from the 6V4Ah rechargeable battery, or use the AC adaptor stored in the compartment underneath the scale. When the display shows -batLo- connect to mains supply and charge the scale immediately. After 40 seconds of inactivity the scale will switch to power saving mode.
Operation: Basic Functions 1.1 SWITCHING ON THE SCALE 1) Press the ON button firmly. 2) The scale will test all of the display segments. 3) The scale will now go into weighing mode and should show 0.000 on the display. 1.2 SWITCHING OFF THE SCALE 1) Hold the OFF button for three seconds when the scale is turned on.

2.2 COUNTING FUNCTION 1) To count items on the scale, first place a sample quantity on the scale. Switch the indicator to count mode by pressing SET and ON/ZERO key at the same time. 2) The display shows ’PCS’. Press ON/ZERO to confirm. 3) Press SET to change digit and Tare to change the value.
