The Camcorder: Functions
Setting the DATE/TIME
✤ Displays the DATE / TIME on the LCD monitor while
recording or playing a tape.
✤ The DATE / TIME setting works in both REC and
PLAY modes.
1. Turn on your camcorder by setting the Power
Switch to REC mode.
2. Press the MENU button.

The top menu including "VIEWER" is displayed.
3. Press the DOWN button to select "VIEWER", then
press the OK button.

The submenu including "DATE/TIME" is
displayed.
4. Press the DOWN button to select "DATE/TIME",
then press the OK button.

The options available for DATE/TIME display are
listed.
5. Select an option using the DOWN or UP button,
then press the OK button.

The selected option is applied.
6. Press the MENU button to exit the menu screen.
Notes
✤ Date and Time information is automatically recorded
on a special data area of the tape.
✤ The DATE/TIME will read "- - -" under the following
conditions:
During playback of a blank section of a tape.
If the tape was recorded before setting the clock in
Camcorder mode.
When the Lithium battery becomes weak or dead.
✤ Before setting the DATE/TIME, be sure to set the CLOCK. Refer to
Setting the Clock in page 38.

Réglage des informations DATE/HEURE <DATE/TIME>
✤ Les informations DATE / TIME <DATE / HEURE>
s'affichent sur l'écran LCD lorsque vous enregistrez des
images ou qu'une cassette est en cours de lecture.
✤ Le réglage des informations DATE/HEURE
<DATE/TIME> peut être effectué à la fois en mode REC
<REC> et en mode PLAY <PLAY>.
1. Allumez votre caméscope en plaçant le sélecteur de
mise sous tension sur le mode REC <REC>.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU <MENU>.

Le menu principal dans lequel apparaît «VISEUR»
<VIEWER> s'affiche.
3. Appuyez sur le bas du bouton multidirectionnel pour
sélectionner «VISEUR» <VIEWER> puis appuyez sur le
bouton OK <OK>.

Le menu secondaire comprenant l'option
«DATE/HEURE» <DATE/TIME> s'affiche.
4. Appuyez sur le bas du bouton multidirectionnel pour
sélectionner «DATE/HEURE» <DATE/TIME> puis
appuyez sur le bouton OK <OK>.

Les options disponibles en ce qui concerne
l'affichage des informations DATE/HEURE
<DATE/TIME> apparaissent sous forme de liste.
5. Choisissez une option en appuyant sur le bas ou sur le
haut du bouton multidirectionnel puis appuyez sur le
bouton OK <OK>.

L'option sélectionnée est désormais active.
6. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU <MENU> pour quitter
l'écran du menu.
Remarques
✤ La date et l'heure sont enregistrées automatiquement
dans une zone de la cassette réservée aux données.
✤ Les informations DATE/HEURE <DATE/TIME>
s'affichent sous la forme «- - -» dans les conditions
suivantes:
lorsqu'une partie vierge de la cassette est lue;
lorsque la cassette a été enregistrée avant réglage de
l'horloge en mode Caméscope <Camcorder>;
lorsque la pile au lithium est faible ou épuisée.
✤ Avant de régler les informations DATE/HEURE <DATE/TIME>, veillez à
régler l'HORLOGE. Reportez-vous à «Réglage de l'horloge», page 38.
