Installing the Toner Cartridge

Open the front cover.

Remove the starter toner cartridge from its bag. Gently roll the
cartridge 5 or 6 times to distribute the toner evenly inside the
cartridge.
Thoroughly rolling the cartridge will assure the maximum copies per
cartridge.

• To prevent damage to the toner cartridge, do not expose it to light for more
than a few minute. Cover it with a piece of paper, if necessary.
• If the toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash
clothing in cold water. Hot water sets the toner into fabric.

Slide the toner cartridge into the machine until it locks into place
completely.

Close the front cover. Make sure that the cover is securely latched.
