Push the accelerator pedal to start the engine.

On key-start vehicles:

Turn and hold the key to START. Release the key after the engine starts.
Note:
If the engine does not start after 10 to 15 seconds, release the key. Try to start
the engine again.

TURN OFF ENGINE

1.
Release the accelerator pedal.
2.
Stop the vehicle.
3.
Engage the park brake to lock the wheels.
4.
Set the Forward / Neutral / Reverse control (FNR) to N.
5.
Turn the key to OFF.
6.
Remove the key. Keep the key in a safe area.

FORWARD MOVEMENT

WARNING
Before forward movement:
• Read and obey all safety decals and information located on the vehicle.
• Understand how to operate the vehicle correctly and safely.
• Understand the function of all vehicle controls, indicators, displays, and gauges.
• Make sure that all passengers are seated and use the hand holds or handrails. The operator
must have both hands on the steering wheel.
• Make sure that the front wheels are turned in the direction of travel.
• Make sure that there are no obstructions are in the vehicles path.
• On key-start vehicles: The engine is on.
• On pedal-start vehicles: The key switch is set to ON.
• The vehicle is at a full stop.
To move the vehicle forward:
1.
Set the Forward / Neutral / Reverse control (FNR) to F.
2.
Disengage the park brake.
3.
Slowly push the accelerator pedal.

FAILURE TO DECREASE THE VEHICLE SPEED IN BAD DRIVING
CONDITIONS CAN CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL
INJURY, OR DEATH. DECREASE THE VEHICLE SPEED WHEN IN
BAD DRIVING CONDITIONS SUCH AS WET GRASS OR ROUGH
TERRAIN.
