EXTENDED STORAGE PREPARATION

To prepare your vehicle for extended storage:
1.
Examine the battery state of charge (SOC) condition. Have a trained technician charge the
battery if the SOC is weak.
Note:
Use an automotive-type 12-volt battery charger rated at 10-amps or less.
2.
Turn off all electronic accessories.
3.
Set the Forward / Neutral / Reverse control (FNR) to N.
4.
Turn the key to OFF.
5.
Remove the key. Keep the key in a safe area.
6.
Put chocks against the wheels.
Note:
Do not engage the park brake.
7.
Remove all cargo and personal items.
8.
Fill the fuel tank.
9.
Add a fuel stabilizer. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
10.
Disconnect the fuel vent line from the fuel tank vent nipple.

SPILLED FUEL.

APPROVED FUEL CONTAINER. KEEP THE FUEL CONTAINER IN A
VENTILATED AREA AWAY FROM SPARKS AND HEAT SOURCES.
FUEL IS TOXIC. KEEP FUEL OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
FUEL IS TOXIC. DO NOT SIPHON FUEL FROM THE VEHICLE.
UNINTENDED VEHICLE OPERATION CAN CAUSE SERIOUS
PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. BEFORE LEAVING OR VEHICLE
MAINTENANCE, DISABLE THE VEHICLE.
