Troubleshooting your charger

If any of the faults described in this section persist, contact
your radio provider for further assistance.
Charger LEDs do not light up
Possible reason(s) and solution(s) include:
Charger amber LED lights up
Possible reason(s) and solution(s) include:
Charger LEDs continuously flash red then amber
Possible reason and solution is:
The power adaptor is not connected, or not turned on.
Remove power adaptor plug and refit.
The battery has not been detected. Check that the battery
contacts are clean and battery is seated correctly.
The charger contacts are stuck. Check that the charger
contacts move freely.
Charging is suspended because the battery is either too
hot or too cold. Charging will begin when the
temperature of the battery is between 5°C (41°F) and
40°C (104°F).
The battery is not compatible with the charger. Check
that the label on the battery charger matches the label on
the battery.
There is incorrect voltage to the charger. Check you are
using the correct power adaptor and it is not faulty.
The battery may be faulty.
Multi-charger: the fan may be faulty.
There is incorrect voltage to the charger. Check you are
