* How to handle errors
• When the status code is 177 (B1H):
Correct the setting of the input terminal of the FB in which an error has occurred. Then, turn the request bit to off and then on
again.
• When the status code is other than 177 (B1H):
C_ETHERNET: Close the port and then reopen it by an application (turn "O_EN" of the FB to off and then on again).
R_READ/R_WRITE: Close the port and then reopen it by an application (turn "REQ" of the FB to off and then on again).
Description
• In the loader communication (client operation) mode, the target CPU (server
side) cannot respond because its is in the middle of operation such as
program download.
specified in "REMOTE_VAR" of R_READ/R_WRITE FB.
• In the loader communication (client operation) mode, the total of the address
+ size specified in "REMOTE_VAR" of R_READ/R_WRITE FB exceeds the
valid range.
• In the loader communication (client operation) mode, the CPU No. specified
in "REMOTE_VAR" of R_READ/R_WRITE FB does not exist.
• In the loader communication (client operation) mode, no response is
returned from the target CPU.
• The target station is disconnected.
This error occurs when the request of the FB is set on while the front or left
side Ethernet unit is disconnected,
• In the loader communication (client operation) mode, there are following
setting errors in R_READ/R_WRITE FB.
0 was entered in the "SIZE" terminal.
The address specified in "REMOTE_VAR" is out of range.
An out-of-range value was entered in "VAR_TYPE."
• When using C_ETHERNET FB, the following errors are found.
An abnormal value (such as 0) is set in "IP_ADD."
An abnormal value is set in "MODE."
When Active open mode is selected in TCP/IP communication, the target
station (IP address and port No.) cannot be found on the network.
Connection is not established.
An open request (C_ETHERNET) or open processing (R_READ, R_WRITE)
is failed.
• No data can be sent to the target station.
• No ACK is returned from the target station after data is sent.
• Other transmission errors on the network
A send request (C_ETHERNET) or send processing (R_READ, R_WRITE) is
failed.
• No data can be received normally from the target station.
When in the client mode (when using R_READ or R_WRITE), no response is
returned from the target station (server) within three seconds after sending a
loader command.
• A close request is received from the target station.
In this case, close the corresponding port once by an application, and then
re-execute the open processing. (Turn "O_EN" of the FB to off and then on
again.)
• Ports exceeding the maximum openable number (eight) were attempted to
be opened.
