Strip the ends of another jumper wire and connect one end to the Circuit Breaker (where the wire was removed in Step 1) and the other end to the Source Terminal Block Connector so that it is matched with Source Terminal “S1”.

The Ignore button is pressed. When the AC power goes down the unit will run on battery power for long enough to finish scanning for the fault which may have caused the AC to power off (breaker trip).

The Fault Trapper requires a high quality welded cell 9V battery such as Duracell®. Generic budget batteries may not be sufficient to power the Fault Trapper.
