Ice formation and moisture in freezer compartment

Possible reason:
Door
gasket damaged or
deformed, air leakage
inside the appliance.
Possible reason:
Door
ice cover bad closure, air
leakage inside the
appliance.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostic:
'ice formation on freezer bottom' chapter.
Check ALL the gaskets (freezer and fridge).
Only if a few deformation is detected, try to
repair it heating up the involved area and
modelling the gasket.
If the door gasket is damaged or not
repairable, substitute it.
Check the white ice chute (see pictures
below). If too much protruding from the
housing, replace the door.
Note: this issue could be more frequent on
appliance produced between w18 and w35
