PINION RETAINER OIL SEAL
REPLACEMENT
Remove
the O-ring and oil
seal
from the
pinion
retainer.
Drive
a new oil seal into
the retainer.
Coat a new O-ring with oil and install it
onto the retainer.

CASE BEARING AND 01L SEAL
REPLACEMENT
H&
the
gear caw
W C {176°F). Tap the
gear
case
with a plastic hammer and
remove
the ring gear and pinion bmrings.
Always
wear gloves
when handling
the gear case after
it
bas been
heated.
NOTE
Urn
baring remover, 35 mm,

to
remove ring gear
