ENCODE FROM CASSETTE TAPE

1. Press the TAPE button to select 'TAPE' mode.
2. Place a recorded Cassette tape into the Cassette Slot on the front panel of the main unit.
Do not fully insert the tape.
3. Press the Record
again until the display shows "---USb".
4. Press Play/Pause
the USB icon will flash, encoding has started now.
5. Fully insert a Cassette Tape into the Cassette Door which is situated on the left side of
the main unit.
6. The unit will start playing the Cassette Tape automatically.
7. Once the encoding is completed, press the STOP
8. To stop playing your Cassette Tape, press the Fast Forward/Eject button
the Cassette Door firmly and fully inwards. The Cassette Tape will stop playing and eject.
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
 The system will create a 'RECORD' folder on the USB thumb drive and then store the
encoded tracks within this folder.
 The default MP3 encoding format is set to 128 kbps bit rate and - 128 kbps and 44.1kHz
sampling rate. This setting cannot be changed
 No song titles will be recorded during the encoding mode.
 To interrupt a recording, simply press the STOP
unit at any time during 'Recording mode'.
MANUAL TRACK SEPARATION
You can divide the music being recorded track by track during encoding from Phono (vinyl),
Cassette Tape and Aux In play functions.
1. Press and hold the TS (Track Separation) button for 3-4 seconds during encoding
2. The system will generate a new track and encoding will continue with flashing
on the display.
DELETING FILES ON THE USB THUMB DRIVE
This system is able to erase the files stored on the USB thumb drive.
IMPORTANT:
1. ) Please make sure the music files stored on the USB thumb drive are backed up in another
location if you plan to use delete function. Once files are deleted, they cannot be retrieved.
2. ) If there is any concern about what files are being deleted, we recommend you insert the
USB thumb drive into your computer and manually delete them that way.
