WARNING
1. Ensure all air and power supplies are ISOLATED before
commencing installation.
2. DO NOT install this product in an explosive atmosphere.
3. Protect from oil and water splashes.
4. If it is intended to energise this product for extended periods of
time please consult SMC.
5. Protect the air supply from freezing.
6. Operate within the specified pressure and temperature ranges.
7. DO NOT subject the unit to impact or vibration.
8. DO NOT install in environments containing corrosive gasses.
Wiring (Fig 1)
Ensure that the microswitch is wired in accordance with the diagram
shown in Fig 1.

To wire the indicator lamp to go "OFF" on detecting a pressure rise,
both the A and B contacts must be wired in accordance with the
diagram shown in Fig 2.

Wiring indicator lamp ON (pressure rise) (Fig 3)
To wire the indicator lamp to come "0N" on detecting a pressure rise,
only the B contact is wired in accordance with the diagram shown in
Fig 3.

CAUTION
Two adhesive nameplates are supplied to indicate the above
situations, place the appropriate label on the outside of the unit in a
highly VISIBLE position.
There are (+) AND (-) terminals for connecting a 24VDC power supply.
The red lead wire connects to the (+) terminal and the black lead wire
to the (-) terminal. A LED is fitted to the 24VDC supply. The LEAKAGE
current is 3mA.
Operating a PLC using leakage current (Fig 4)
Directly connect the LED to the power supply as shown in Fig 4.

Internal resistance of the lamp is L1: 33kΩ, L2: 100kΩ, and L5:
8.2kΩ.

The pressure can be set by turning the adjusting screw, using a small
bladed screwdriver.
Maintenance
WARNING
Before carrying out any maintenance work ensure all air and power
supplies are ISOLATED.
Please consult SMC before dismantling this product.
