Example of motor protection and control of
contactor and circuit breaker controlled motors
using standard configuration D is shown in Figure
6. In this configuration current sensors (Rogowski
coil) and voltage sensors (voltage divider) are
used for the measurements. To prevent possible
power system instability due to busbar voltage
collapse, the simultaneous starting of several
motors can be inhibited with the "restart inhibit"
