Cleaning

WARNING!
RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT!
Water that has penetrated the scarifier may cause a
short circuit and an electric shock. You could injury your-
self if you come into contact with the scarifier then.
−Make sure that no water penetrates the housing of the
scarifier.
−Do not spray off the scarifier with a water jet.
−Do not immerse the scarifier in water to clean it. Do not
allow any liquid cleaners to penetrate the scarifier.
NOTICE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the scarifier may result in da-
mage. Using an unsuitable cleaner could damage the
surface of the scarifier.
−Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with me-
tal or nylon bristles, sharp or metallic cleaning utensils
such as knives, hard scrapers and the like.

1. Disconnect the mains connection from the extension cord
before cleaning.
2. Clean the scarifier with a damp cloth to remove all sap, water
and dirt.
3. Then let all parts dry completely.
