Airspeed: Stabilize at 150 kmlhr, 80 kts
o Bank:
Set bank at 30"
o Apply excess bank and backpressure to attain an accelerated stall, or:
o Apply excess rudder and backpressure to attain a cross-controlled stall
Recovery:
o
"Stall":
Pitch down to break the stall.
o
Throttle:
Apply full throttle, with coordinated left rudder.
o
Bank:
Roll wings level once the stall is broken.
o Pitch:
Recover to level flight, and accelerate towards normal climb speed.
Normal Spin:
Purpose: To recognize impending stall signals, spin entries, and to recover from a normal spin with
minimum altitude loss.

Reduce smoothly to idle

Pitch:
Raise nose to maintain level flight. As stall is approached, increase
backpressure and apply full rudder in the desired direction. Maintain full aft stick and full
rudder until recovery is initiated.
Recovery:
o
Throttle:
Check in idle
o Ailerons: Neutral
o
Rudder:
Apply full rudder opposite spin direction
o Elevator: Apply brisk forward stick to slightly forward of neutral to break the.stall.
o Rudder:
Neutralize the rudder after the stall is broken
o
Pitch:
Increase backpressure to bring the nose up to the horizon
