3.7 Electrical wiring of motors

Warning:
Prior to the unit maintenance, power
supply must be cut off in case of
personnel injury, the material of con-
necting wire shall be copper, and other
conductors will lead to overheating and
the unit damage.
Wiring shall be conducted according to relevant

specifications for electrical equipment technol-
ogy and working procedures.
Determine the running directions according to
►
the sign of fan running directions. When con-
necting the U, V and W terminals of the motor
on to the power supply, and if the running direc-
tion conforms to the specification, the connec-
tion is right, and if it is not conformed, any two of
terminals of U, V and W will be changed for the
connection of power supply.
Motor wiring diagram is usually marked in the

inside of the motor terminal cover, please follow
the wiring diagram for the wiring. There are two
common wiring methods, direct starting meth-
ods and Sar-Delta starting method. phase fail-
ure connection can lead to over burning of
motor. For wiring methods→ Fig. 15.
Motors on supply fan and humidifier must be set
►
with interlock device.
3.8 Electrical wiring of motors
Configure and correct connect electric appli-
ances and wiring according to electrical heating
wiring diagram and schematic diagram of the
units. Metal shell for electrical heater coil shall
be well grounded.
Electrical heating controller shall be switched in
the signal of thermal relay in the electrical
heater coil, to ensure automatic cutout of electri-
cal heater power in case of over temperature of
air inside the units.
Electrical heating controller shall realize inter-
connected control of fan and electrical heater, to
ensure disconnection of electrical heating power
in case of the fan shutdown.

3.9 Electrical wiring of humidifier

For wiring of humidifier installed in the unit,
please refer to instructions of relevant humidifier.
