Bank Angle Indicators

Use of a motorcycle with bank angle
indicators worn beyond the maximum
limit (as described below) will allow the
motorcycle to be banked to an unsafe
angle.
Banking to an unsafe angle may cause
instability, loss of motorcycle control
and an accident.
Bank angle indicators are located on the
riders footrests.
Regularly
indicators for wear.
The bank angle indicators have reached
the maximum wear limit and should be
replaced when they have worn down to
a length of:
• 0.79 in (20 mm) - All models except
Tiger 800 XCA
• 0.98 in (25 mm) - Tiger 800 XCA
only.
