To adjust the fluid level:
• Remove the reservoir cap, support
ring and the diaphragm seal.
• Fill the reservoir to the upper level
line using new DOT 4 fluid from a
sealed container.
• Install
the
diaphragm support ring into the
fluid reservoir.
• Install
the
carefully screw it down, making
sure it is fully tightened.

Brake Light Switches

Warning
Riding the motorcycle with defective
brake lights is illegal and dangerous.
An accident causing injury to the rider
and other road users may result from
use of a motorcycle with defective
brake lights.
The brake light is activated independent-
ly by either the front or rear brake. If,
with the ignition in the ON position, the
brake light does not work when the front
brake lever is pulled or the rear brake
pedal is pressed, have your authorized
Triumph dealer investigate and rectify
the fault.

Steering Inspection

To prevent risk of injury from the
motorcycle
and
inspection,
motorcycle is stabilized and secured on
a suitable support.

Do not exert extreme force against
each
wheel
vigorously as this may cause the
motorcycle to become unstable and
cause injury by falling from its support.
Make sure that the position of the
support block will not cause damage to
the motorcycle.
Riding the motorcycle with incorrectly
adjusted or defective steering (steering
head) bearings is dangerous and may
cause loss of motorcycle control and
an accident.
Note:
Always inspect the wheel bearings
at the same time as the steering
bearings.
