Faulty scanning
*1: Replace the print head only after the print head deep cleaning is performed 2 times, and when the problem persists.
Color hue is incorrect.
Printing is incorrect.
No ejection of black ink.
Graphic or text is enlarged on printouts. When enlarged in the carriage movement direction:
No scanning.
Streaks or smears on the scanned
image.
The document slips over the rollers (a
copied image is enlarged as a result), or
document sheets are not separated from
each other.

- platen unit,
- logic board, or
- scanning unit (when copying)
- Confirm the connection between the scanning unit and
the logic board.
- Replace the
- scanning unit, or
- logic board.
- Confirm that the MP drivers are installed properly.
- Confirm that the USB cable is connected properly.
- Clean the platen glass.
- Confirm the connection between the scanning unit and
the logic board.
- Replace the
- scanning unit,
- logic board, or
- document pressure sheet.
- Clean the
- friction tab,
- document pick-up rollers, and
- separation rollers.
- Replace the document feed unit.
