- Page 3 Papillon Gebrauchsanweisung Verwendungszweck ® Die Nasenmaske Papillon dient der Behandlung von Patienten, die unter restriktiven, obstrukti- ven oder zentralen Atemstörungen leiden und eine nasale Überdrucktherapie (nCPAP oder biLEVEL) benötigen. Beispiele solcher Erkrankun- gen sind unter anderem Schlafapnoe, chronisch restriktive oder obstruktive Lungenerkrankungen sowie Deformationen des Brustkorbes.

Papillon Instruction Manual Intended Use ® The Papillon nasal mask is designed for the treatment of patients suffering from restrictive, obstructive, or central respiratory disorders who require nasal positive airway pressure therapy (nCPAP or biLEVEL). Examples of these conditions include sleep apnea, chronic restrictive or obstructive lung diseases, and deformations of the rib cage. - Page 8 • Avoid excessive build-up of condensed water, particularly at low therapeutic pressures. If necessary, reduce the settings of the air humidifier accordingly. • You should remove the mask as soon as you switch off the respiratory therapy device or detach the mask from the air tubing. This will prevent you from rebreathing your own exhaled air.

Disposal The Papillon nasal mask, AeroFix II headgear, and AeroFix plus tubing clip contain no toxic substances. Dispose of the nasal mask in accordance with applicable national laws and regulations. Except where stipulated otherwise, before being taken to a recycling center the nasal mask should be cleaned in accordance with the procedures described in this Instruction Manual. -

Papillon Instructiehandleiding Bedoeld gebruik Het Papillon ® neusmasker is ontwikkeld voor de behandeling van patienten die lijden aan restrictieve, obstructieve of centrale ademhalingsstoornissen, voor wie een nasale continue positieve druktherapie (nCPAP of biLEVEL) noodzakelijk is. Voorbeelden van deze aandoeningen zijn o.a. slaapapneu, chro- nische restrictieve of obstructieve longziekten en vervormingen van de ribbenkast. - Page 16 • Vermijd buitengewone ophoping van gecon- denseerd water, vooral bij lage therapeutische druk. Indien noodzakelijk kunt u de instellingen van de luchtbevochtiger overeenkomstig aanpassen. • U dient het masker af te doen zodra u het ademtherapie-apparaat uitschakelt of als u het masker loskoppelt van de ademslang.

Verwijderen Het Papillon neusmasker, de AeroFix II hoofdband en de AeroFix plus slangfixeerband bevatten geen giftige bestanddelen. De verwijdering van het neusmasker moet gebeuren volgens de toepasselijke nationale wet- en regelgeving. Tenzij anders aangegeven moet het neusmasker worden gereinigd volgens de procedures die in de handleiding staan alvorens het naar een herverwerkingscentrum te brengen. -
