TwinDos maintenance

If the system has not been used
for a long time (more than two
months), the detergent in the hoses
can become viscous.
The hoses can become blocked and
would then need to be cleaned by a
service technician.
Clean the TwinDos system every
time you change the brand of liquid
detergent or fabric softener or if the
system has not been used for a long
period of time.
To clean the system, you either need a
"TwinDosCare" cleaning cartridge
(only available in selected countries) or
an empty TwinDos container. Both are
available from the Miele online shop.
The washer-dryer has a cleaning
programme for cleaning the TwinDos
system containers and the hoses inside
the machine.
Starting the maintenance programme
 Switch the washer-dryer on and wait
until the standard display lights up.
 Touch the  and  sensors at the
same time until the following appears
in the display:
Language 
The settings menu is activated.
 Touch the  sensor until the
following appears in the display:
TwinDos
 Confirm the setting with the OK
sensor.
 Touch the  sensor until the
following appears in the display:
Maintenance
 Confirm the setting with the OK
sensor.
Mainten. comp. 
 Touch the  or  sensor until the
compartment you want appears in
the display and confirm this with the
OK sensor.
Start Mainten.?
 Select
Yes
OK sensor. Follow the instructions in
the display.
The hoses will now be cleaned. The
TwinDos system can be used again.
After cleaning you can fill one or both
containers with new liquid detergent
and/or fabric softener.

Cleaning the compartment

Detergent residue can cause clogging.
 Use a damp cloth to clean the
compartment interior when you
change the cartridge or container.
