ADDING EXTERNAL SOUND MODULES:
The addition of an external MIDI sound generator allows a third layer
of sound to be placed on each manual. Holding tIle MIDI button and
pressing the 8"I button in the upper manual or on the lower manual
stop sections causes the buttons to flash. Pressing a key will cause a
program change to be sent out

a MIDI port; tilis also sends the
keyboard infonnation out. The UPPER tnanual plays on MIDI channel
#2 and the LOWER manual plays on MIDI channel #3. Holding the
MIDI button and pressing the 8'1 button without follo\ving it with a key
press disables the corresponding MIDI output.
ADDING MIDI SEQUENCER INPUT/OUTPUT:
Channels 12 through 16 on the MIDI ports can be used to interface to
a sequencer. These channels correspond to tIle four intemallayers,
(UPPER HARPSICHORD, UPPER ENSEMBLE, LOWER
HARPSICHORD, LOWER ENSEMBLE). The output of these
channels can be switched on and off by holding the MIDI button and
pressing the TRANSPOSER button. While holding the MIDI button
the transposed lamp will flash

(NOTE: THE ENSEMBLE LEVEL CONTROL WILL CONTROL THE LEVEL
OF AN EXTERNAL INSTRUMENT ONLY ON THE DIVISIONS ASSIGNED
TO THE ENSEMBLE SECTIONS. )
