    I/O, RS-232 output, IR output, and optional LAN interface with internal WebGUI and IP control. The EX-HDU extender consists of an EX-HDU-WP single-gang wall plate transmitter and an EX-HDU-R (or EX-HDU-R-IP) receiver. They connect using standard CAT5e/6 UTP cabling up to 200 feet (60 Meters) long.

    HDMI and USB Extension on single CAT6 EX-HDU Receiver IR Connector - This connector can be connected to a compatible IR emitter cable (such as Hall Research CIR-EMT or CIR-KIT-EMT2). To use this feature customers need to know the IR protocol and IR data for the device they want to control.
  • Page 8 EX-HDU RS-232 Port and 4 Digital I/O ports The RS-232 port typically functions as an output and is used to turn a projector on or off or control the volume of an external audio amplifier. The RS-232 port can also be used as an input to control the EX-HDU itself.
