Welcome to Matrox Monarch LCS

The Matrox Monarch LCS is a reliable, standalone network appliance that is
simple to set up and integrate into any open Video Management System (VMS)
or Lecture Management System (LMS). Monarch LCS lets you easily define
profiles for live streamed and recorded lectures by mixing camera and
presentation material from SDI and HDMI sources. Once configured, this
versatile H.264 encoding appliance can be operated by anyone at the push of a

Supported input formats

Matrox Monarch LCS supports the following video input formats:
• 1920 × 1080p at 25/29.97/30/50/59.94/60 fps
• 1920 × 1080i at 25/29.97 fps
• 1280 × 720p at 50/59.94/60 fps
• 720 × 576i at 25 fps (SDI only)
• 720 × 486i at 29.97 fps (SDI only)

Supported operating systems

The Matrox Monarch LCS Utils application is used to perform firmware updates
and acquire the device network IP address when connected to a network with a
DHCP server. The application supports the following operating systems:
• Mac OS X El Capitan
• Microsoft Windows 10
¦ Note You must have Microsoft .NET Framework installed. This release was
tested with the latest version:
Other operating systems may work but have not been fully validated through
internal testing. Before trying another operating system, please contact
MonarchLCSSupport@matrox.com with any questions.

Supported Web browsers

Matrox Monarch LCS has been tested for use with the following Web browsers:
• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
Other browsers may work but have not been fully validated through internal
testing.
