CHAPTER IV
No resistance or Incorrect resistance
Symptom: : : :
1. The resistance is un-adjustable during exercise.
2. The resistance is reverse or much too heavier.
Reason: : : :
1. Speed sensor wire is defective.
2. Console cable or ECB motor is defective.
3. Steel rope of magnet system not correct.
4. Inside magnet defective.
Solution: : : :
1.
Check if the console shows RPM value. If no, refer to solution for "NO RPM DISPLAY".

Turn on the console, and check the ECB motor.
In resistance level 1, the head of steel rope directs to top right side (around 45 degree).
If the head of steel rope directs to bottom left side, the resistance will be reverse, adjust the
head of steel rope to the correct position.

Press key "+" to adjust the resistance.
A) If ECB motor can not move, the resistance will not be changed. The ECB motor or
console cable is defective. Check the console cable inserted in ECB motor. Use a
multi-meter to measure the output of console cable (line 1& 2). Normally it shall be DC 6V.
If no output, the console cable defective. Replace the console cable.
