Maintenance

WARNING: Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before
adjusting or checking function on the tool.
Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or
maintenance
Your power tool requires no additional lubrication or maintenance. There are no user
serviceable parts in your power tool. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your
power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store your power tool in a dry place. Keep
the motor ventilation slots clean. Keep all working controls free
of dust. Occasionally you may see sparks through the ventilation slots. This is normal and
will not damage your power tool.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
1 CHANGING THE TCT BLADE (SEE FIG F1, F2)
CAUTION! Pull out the power plug. Take off the chip bin cover (e) by loosening the fixing
screws (f) and moving it. Undo the nut (g) with a ring wrench (h) on the nut (g) and a face
wrench (i) on the outer flange (j) to apply counterclockwise pressure.
CAUTION! Turn the nut in the direction of rotation of the TCT blade (11). Take off the outer
flange (j) and pull the old TCT blade (11) off the inner flange by dropping the blade at an
angle. Clean the mounting flange. Fit the new TCT blade in reverse order.
CAUTION! Note the direction of rotation (see arrow on the TCT blade).
