Work Hints For Your All Purpose Saw If your power tool becomes too hot, set the speed to maximum and run a no load for 2-3 minutes to cool the motor. Always ensure the work-piece is firmly held or clamped to prevent movement. The pivot foot plate must be held firmly against the material being cut to reduce saw vibration, blade jumping and blade breakage.
