    Assembly Instructions NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully. WARNING! When using the equipment, a few safety precautions must be observed to avoid injuries and damage. Please read the complete operating instuctions and safety regulations with due care. Keep this manual in a proper place, so that the information is available at all times.
  • Page 10 Assembly Instructions 1. Mounting the saw table (See Fig A1-A5) Remove the Web Panel (4). (See Fig A1) Place the Saw Table (15) on the tool housing (25) from the right and fasten with the Fixing Handle(18) and the Fixing Screw(27). Make sure that the blade (26) is positioned exactly in the center of the saw table.
  • Page 11 Assembly Instructions 2. Tensioning the blade (See Fig. B1, B2) CAUTION! Remove the tension from the blade if the bandsaw is not going to be used for some time. Be sure to re-tension the blade before you start the tool. Turn the Tightening Screw (9) for tensioning the blade (26) in a clockwise direction.
  • Page 12 Assembly Instructions 3 Adjusting the blade CAUTION! The blade tension has to be set correctly before you can adjust the blade. Undo the Hood Closure (13) with the screwdriver from outside and open the Side Cover (12). (See Fig C) Slowly turn the Upper Blade Pulley (8) clockwise by hand.
  • Page 13 Assembly Instructions 4. Adjusting the Upper Blade Guide (11) (See Fig D1-D3) Undo the fixing handle (20). Turn the setting handle (19) to lower the Blade Guide (11) as close as possible to the workpiece to be cut. The gap should be approx 2-3 mm. Re-tighten the Fixing Handle (20).
  • Page 14 Assembly Instructions 4.2. Adjusting the Lower Support Bearing (31) (See Fig F1-F3) Lower the upper guide to a proper height (Refer to step4) Dismantle the Saw Table (15). Undo the Screw (33). (See Fig F1,F2) Adjust in the same way that the upper support bearing was adjusted. (See Fig F3) The blade (26) is only supported by the Support Bearings (30 + 31) during cutting.
  • Page 15 Assembly Instructions 5.3. Adjusting the Upper Guide Pins (28) (See Fig G) Undo the Allen Screw (34) . Move the mount of the Upper Guide Pins (28) so that there is a gap of approx. 1 mm between the front edge of the Upper Guide Pins (28) and the gullet of the blade in front. Re-tighten the Allen Screw (34) .
  • Page 16 Assembly Instructions 5.4. Adjusting the Lower Guide Pins (29) (See Fig H1,H2) Dismantle the Saw Table (15). Loosen the Allen Screws (35). Move the Mount of the Lower Guide Pins (29) so that there is a gap of approx. 1 mm between the front edge of the Lower Guide Pins (29) and the gullet of the blade in front.
  • Page 17 Assembly Instructions 6. Adjusting the tool table (15) to 90o (See Fig I1,I2) Move the Upper Blade Guide (11) to the top. Undo the fixing handles (18). Set the angle between the blade (26) and the table (15). Turn the Setting Wheel (19) to tilt the Saw Table (15) until it is at an angle of exactly 90o to the blade (26).
  • Page 18 Assembly Instructions 8. Changing the blade (See Fig B1, C, J) Move the Blade Guide(11) into a position approximately half way between the Saw Table (15) and the Tool Housing (25). Undo the Hood Closure (13) with the screwdriver from outside and open the Side Cover (12). (See Fig C) Remove the Web Panel (4).
  • Page 19 Assembly Instructions 10. Changing the table Insert (See Fig. L) To prevent increased likelihood of injury the Table Insert (17) should be changed whenever it is worn or damaged. Detach the table (15). Lift out the worn Table Insert (17). Fit the replacement table insert(not supplied) by following the above in reverse.

    Assembly Instructions 12.3. Angular cuts (See Fig. O) To enable you to perform angular cuts parallel to the blade (26), the table (15) can be tilted forwards between 0 Undo the Fixing Handles (18). Tilt the Saw Table (15) forwards until the required angle value is set on the Dial Scale (16). Re-tighten the Fixing Handles (18).
  • Page 21 Operating Instructions Always guide the workpiece with both hands, holding it flat on the table (15) in order to prevent the blade (26) from jamming. Feed the workpiece at a uniform speed that enables the blade to cut through the material without difficulty and without blocking.

    Maintenance Warning: Remove the plug before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance Remove dust and dirt regularly from the bandsaw. Cleaning is best carried out with a fine brush or a cloth. Do not use caustic cleaning agents for cleaning plastic. Disposal And Recycling The unit is supplied in packaging to prevent its being damaged in transit.
