Before testing any grains or seeds the Unimeter should be checked with
your local grain dealer. We at Unimeter take every care to ensure your meter
has the latest and most popular grain varieties included, BUT local varieties
and growing conditions can affect the measuring.

Always take several samples and use their average as the result

Remove waste and green or abnormal grains.

Give the grains time to cool a little before measuring.

Take samples from different places due to damp spots !
5. Measuring
1. Press ON/OFF - to start the meter
2. Choose grain/seed using

4. Pour the grains into the milling area evenly
5. Put the milling cap on its place and twist it.
6. Twist it until the stop hits the the edge of the mill.
7. Press Test
If the display shows "--------" or "++++" the result is outside the measuring range.
"-------" The sample is very dry or measuring has been interrupted.
"++++" The sample is too wet or the sample was not big enough.
8. Moisture content is on the left side of the display and average on the right side.
9. Clean the mill and the cap, use the cleaning brush that came with the meter.
The measuring cell must be cleaned carefully so the next
mill with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Don't use any strong cleaning
purifying agents and don't let the meter get wet. Store meter in a dry
