Important: The scales of Wile moisture meters are developed to measure average quality grain. Exceptional growth conditions and new varieties of Rice can considerably affect Rice properties. Therefore, in the beginning of new harvest season we recommend to check the readings of your meter against an oven dried sample. -

3. Ensure hopper slider is pushed in to keep Rice from dropping. Fill hopper to the rim with sample. 4. Pull slider and the rice will evenly flow into the test cell. 5. Remove hopper when prompted. Level the rice by pushing the handle in steady motion towards the back of the unit and back removing excess grain. -

UNIT Select preferred weight (kg/hl or lb/Bu) and temperature units (Celsius or Fahr- enheit). When the temperature units are changed from Fahrenheit to Celsius the test weight units are also changed AUTO OFF The meter will turn off automatically after a selected time (30s, 1min, 5min, 10min, 20min) AVERAGE CALCULATION The meter automatically calculates the average of the previous measurements. -

LCD CONTRAST Adjust LCD display contrast. BATTERY Battery level can be checked. If the battery level is under 22% the meter will indicate it on the startup screen automatically, but measuring is still possible. Low battery voltage does not affect the measurement results. WEIGHT TEST Scale function can be checked at weight test mode. -

Care CLEANING THE TESTER — TEST CELL Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe out the cell, using extreme care not to damage the Rice temperature sensor at the bottom of the test cell.
