If you are prompted to remove unused shared files, select No

Update the 1784-PCID Driver

1. Select Start.
2. Right-click on My Computer.
3. Select Manage.
4. On the Computer Management window that appears, select Device
Manager.
if
Driver software version 1.23 or earlier was installed
Driver software version 4.00 or later was installed
5. If Driver Software version 1.23 or earlier was installed, follow this procedure:

Install the Driver in Windows XP
then
go to step 5 on page 4-5
