HANGING THE
The handset runs on a consumer-replaceable nickel cadmium battery pack.
If you experience any of the following problems, you may need to replace
the battery pack:
• Short talk time
• Limited range
Make sure phone is OFF before you replace battery.
1. Slide open
the battery
compartment
door.
5. Replace and
plug in the new
battery pack.
(Use BT-12
replacement
battery.)

2. Remove the
retaining
strap holding
battery
in place.

3. Pull out the
battery
plug.

4. Remove the
battery pack.
8. Charge the
battery for 12
hours before
use.
