    ESSAGE LAYBACK The messages indicator lets you know when you have messages. To play messages, press PLAY/STOP.     SING THE ANDSET Press the ANSW button to access the answering machine from the cordless handset. After you access the answerer, use the marked handset keys just as if you were pressing the corresponding buttons on the base (see "Answering Machine Operation" for details on functions).
