Operating Modes

The reader can operate in one of several scanning modes.
On Line — Scanning is activated when the button is pushed or
through an external trigger (GFS4450-9 only).
Serial On Line —
host interface (manual and external triggering can be enabled in this
read mode through option setting).
Automatic — Scanning is continually on.
Automatic (Object Sense) —
an item is placed in reader's field of view.
