E21: Water Not Pumping Out Fast Enough

Drain Pipe blocked, Drain Pump defective, Pressure Sensor defective, or Main
Board defective.
Checks to perform:
Is the input power supply 120 VAC at the Drain Pump?
Y

Is the drain filter clean (If filter available)?
Y

Is the drain system OK? (Drain pipe and water system
of the home). (See Fig. 1)

Is the resistance measurement of
the drain pump approximately
13 Ω to 16 Ω? (Measure it
directly on the connector on the
board between J4-3 and J4-4.)

Is the pump rotor
mechanically
blocked or broken?

Replace the Main Control Board, and repeat the
diagnostic cycle to check for any further errors.
Is the resistance measurement of
the drain pump approximately
13 Ω to 16 Ω? (Measure it directly

on the pump.) (See Fig. 3)
Clean / Replace the drain
pump, and repeat the
