Step 15: Attach support panels Pa, Pb and Pc to panels C, J and K with 6 long screws [W].

FIREPLACE INSERT INSTALLATION
The fireplace insert can be installed after the mantel has been fully assembled.

Step 19: Carefully place the insert into the unit opening. The front of insert should be
flush with the front of the mantel. See Fig. R.
Step 20: Once the insert is in place, attach 2 L-mounting brackets [Va] with 2 short
screws [Vb] onto the base panel [D] (1 screw for each bracket). Attach 2
L-mounting brackets [Va] to panel Q with 4 mounting screws [U]. Attach panel
Q with the L-mounting brackets attached to panels J and K with 2 short screws
[Vb]. See Fig. S.
Step 21: Tighten all screws.
Step 22: Carefully move the assembled unit to the desired location. The fireplace mantel
should not be positioned in area exposed to direct sunlight.
