For free chlorine, place
the prepared sample cell in
the cell holder within one
minute after adding the DPD
Free Pillow. Cover the cell
with the instrument cap.
Proceed to step 9.
Note: If the sample temporarily turns yellow after reagent addition or shows overrange
(page
2—12), dilute a fresh sample and repeat the test. A slight loss of chlorine may occur.
Multiply the result by the dilution factor.
