c) Remove the buildup of calcium carbonate (lime) inside the proportioner
The chemical supply is resting higher than the bottom of the discharge tube, creating

Check the IR Probe. If it's not sensing the difference between liquid and air and
switching off, it has become defective. Replace the Sensor. This may occur right

after a detergent rinse, and continue to blow air for a long time.

• If air and valves are OK, check the Infrared Sensor
IR is Bad – replace (Note: IR may sometimes sense water but not
o
detergent)
IR is Good:
o
 Check the Coupler as described above
• Make sure Air and CO
are on at proper pressure

• Check for a hiss of air
Hissing and Probe is off – the IR Probe is bad
o
No Hissing – check the air supply and pressure
o
• Check that air pressure is set at 22-23 psi and you are using a 1" hose
both maintains a balance of cleaning
Connect the tubing and prime the Proportioner
o
Ensure you meet the 15 gpm at 40-60 psi
o
Pinch the outlet tube to create back pressure, which will cause the unit to
o
prime, after which, the foot valve will keep the inlet tube primed
• Remove proportioner tip and inject hot water
• Soak in hot water and clean
• Soak it in a delimiting solution, or vinegar, to restore it to working order
• Lower the supply container or hang up the outlet tube after use
