CPU BACKUP
BATTERY
The
IC-725
has
a
lithium
backup
battery for
retaining
memory
information.
The
usual
life
of the
backup
battery
is
approximately
five
years.
When
the battery
is
exhausted, the
transceiver
transmits
and
receives
normally but
the
transceiver
cannot
retain
memory
information.
NOTE:
Backup
battery
replacement should
be
done by
an authorized
Icom
Dealer or Service Center.
8-5
CLEANING
If
the
transceiver
becomes
dusty or
dirty,
wipe
it
clean
with
a dry, soft cloth.
Avoid
the use
of strong cleaning agents
such
as

or alcohol
as
they
may
damage
the surfaces
of the
transceiver.
